We wanted to make it as easy as possible for people to talk back to their government, so we made postage-paid postcards addressed to various politicians who said some rather ridiculous things. The ultimate goal was the 'Miracle on 34th Street' moment of thousandsw of letters piled on a desk. Please note that the stubs of the cards direct you to text our little texting thing, I don't know what you call it. This will be important later.

Everything led to the web with our insight that you could get everything you need to know about a person from their phone number - their name, their zipcode, and, uh,
their phone number. Meaning the easiest way possible for someone to sign a petition was to text us. Online, you could track the petition's progress by region, and make
sure that your friends sign up.
